"I am Sam White and I am a committee member of the Shepparton Bears Football and Netball Club. Throughout the past year we have had two major functions that have required the presence of a speaker. This was my first year on the committee and I was in charge of handling these functions. I quickly found out that the first thing that I must do is organise a quality speaker. "Our organisation used Sports Bureau Promotions for a major customer event in October 2009 and the contracted speaker was Layne Beachley. SBP was a clear choice for us when selecting from the group of 4 proposals. I dealt solely with Director Craig MacGregor and felt that his personable and professional approach was outstanding. His 100% commitment to ensuring we had a quality experience from start to finish was exceptional. On the speakers side, I dealt with Layne leading up to the event and not only was she extremely down to earth, she was also very flexible and easy going with her approach to the event and to Rubik as a client. From beginning to end Layne was a delight to work with. Not only was she extremely approachable with our guests but she also went above and beyond, making sure that each delegate had their book signed and photo taken with her. "After only getting in contact with you on Saturday, with less than 1 week to our Sports Awards Night, I was just blown away at the quality service you provided. You kept in contact with me each day, ensuring everything was on task and making sure Brooke was up to speed as well. A truly great service and I certainly will be recommending Sports Bureau Promotions to anyone that requires your services. Brooke Hanson arrived last night at approximately 7.15pm, which was terrific, as it allowed us to quickly debrief and then a photo or two with our sports captains before the night begun. When Brooke got up on stage to speak, she lit up the room. She made some jokes, shared stories of both achievements and disappointments and allowed a true message to get through to our students. When Brooke spoke it was like she was feeling and reliving the experiences that she spoke about. Such true emotion in her speech and just what captivates the audience. I received feedback last night and also this morning from students, parents and staff members that were present. They agreed that Brooke was magnificent and will surely be hard to top with another great speaker next year. A highlight mentioned to me and a memorable moment for all would have to be the Gold and Silver medals that Brooke passed around the audience. Many people will never see a real Olympic medal in the flesh, let alone get to hold/try on the medal themselves.
