The Mitchell Business Awards 2010 has been described as a very successful event and it was quoted by many who attended as "the Best Ever Awards". The Guest Speaker for our event was Lauren Burns. Lauren was amazing, a wonderful speaker, an outstanding personality and a pleasure to have at our Awards. Lauren spoke of her Olympic success and achievements in sport but related it back to achievements and successes in all walks of life, in particular used our Business Awards as an example of how people can shine. I am Sam White and I am a committee member of the Shepparton Bears Football and Netball Club. Throughout the past year we have had two major functions that have required the presence of a speaker. This was my first year on the committee and I was in charge of handling these functions. I quickly found out that the first thing that I must do is organise a quality speaker. Not knowing who to turn to I sourced four potential marketing companies through the internet and made contact with them all. From da y one Craig MacGregor of Sports Bureau Promotions was all class.
